What to wear Wednesday

everyday earrings.

I LOVE earrings. Dangly, simple, bold, statement.... I love them all. I can hardly get out of target without a new pair of earrings.

The earrings I’m talking about today are a pair I happened upon before Christmas when I was hunting for something else. I wear these a lot and as far as I’m concerned they match everything!

Tortoise Shell is such a hot look right now. I have 2 other pair in this color, but different styles. I equate the tortoise shell look to leopard.... it’s a neutral in my book.

My ‘momiform’ tends to be athleisure wear. I love to be able to sneak in a walk or 10 minutes of yoga between errands, cleaning, coloring with my two year and so on. Let’s be honest... it’s also so comfy! I think tortoise shell accessories look especially great with dark colors... like black leggings!

These little studs are lightweight and versatile. I wear them 2-3 days a week! They are so good.

I found mine at Charming Charlies before Christmas. When I decided to write this I figured I wouldn’t be able to find the exact ones. I saw Michael Kors has a similar set and fossil has a similar set at Nordstrom (that is currently sold out). Loft also has a very cutr set on sale. The only difference is that the outer edge is plain gold without rhinestones. But when I checked the CC website, low and behold they were still there... and guess what they are  on sale for $4!!!  I have half a mind to order a few pairs as gifts! I love these earrings!

Monday Must Have - - - Closet Clothing Dividers for Kids

Mom's Take back your morning!!!! If you are like me and have multiple school age children, mornings can be stressful and time consuming.  The fight about clothes and hurrying to get dressed in the morning can be endless and infuriating.  I envy those of you whose children wear uniforms to school.  But regardless of if they wear everyday clothes or uniforms this method is priceless. This also allows momma to see if everything they need for the week is clean and ready.  I also hang practice clothes or jersey's with the day of the week of the game etc. I started this when my oldest was in preschool.  It allows us organization and frees our mornings up.  When I started doing this, I used a hanging sweater organizer.  This was a good fit for the closet at the time and it worked for our space.  Now, my oldest two children share a room and closet, so this method works better for us. I ordered colorful set of clothing organizers from Amazon . ...

Elementary School - - Must Haves

Well, it’s that time again. It’s about to be back to school. This year looks different, but regardless of what your school is doing this fall there are things you are going to need this fall. If your house is like mine, school supplies and craft supplies are running low.  Between finishing school at home and quarantine... we are making due. Here in GA, we are starting back to school as normally as can be anticipated. Masks included, if possible. My elementary age kiddo is pretty good on clothes, but definitely needs somethings to start the year. These are a few things that I have bought or will be buying in addition to the required school supplies. First, as a third grader... she needed a bigger backpack. Lands End is my very favorite place to order back packs and lunch bags! They are wonderfully made and hold up so well. My kids love the prints. The website allows you to filter the size of the backpack based on height. For me, this makes shopping for a backpack SO much easi...

Tween Room Inspiration

Our oldest just turned 10, I just can’t believe it. But ten is big and she is beginning to grow out of toys and little girl stuff. She currently shares a room with her 7 year old little sister. They sleep in sweet little twin beds and we hear them whispers and playing after bed time. It has been good for them to share a room. I think it’s a wonderful learning experience for children to share a room. I have much older half siblings, so I basically grew up as an only child. Learning to live in a shared space is such an important lesson. Respecting people areas, cleaning up after yourself... these are all great lessons. Things that will serve her well in college. This particular child is fiercely independent and thrives and recharges on solo time. As the baby of the family approaches needing to be out of the crib we know a change is on the horizon. Our house has enough bedrooms  for everyone to have their own room, but some are upstairs  near our Master bedroom and some downs...
